Our central location makes us the gateway
to Ribagorza county, a cultural and historical treasure house
offering centuries old and picturesque churches, hermitages,
bridges, roman sites …
We are just 5 kilometers from the village of La Puebla de
Castro, just up from Barasona lake, where you can visit their
gothic parochial church, the San Román de Castro Hermitage
and the archaeological site of the Roman settlement Labitólosa.
CULTURAL EXCURSIONS
GRAUS, County seat and commercial hub of Ribagorza
as seen by the Santa Lucía, San Miguel and May Fairs.
You can also visit the 16th century Virgen de la Peña
Basilica or enjoy the traditional town festivals in September,
which have been declared of national tourist interest.

PANILLO: The “DAG SHANG KAGYU” Buddhist Temple
close to Graus stands out.
VALLE DE ISABENA: the cloister of the Roman Cathedral of Roda
and the Monastery are must sees.
TORRECIUDAD: a spectacular religious complex known for its
architectural design on the shores of Grado lake. Built in
1970 the recently-canonised Saint Josemaría Escrivá
de Balaguer.
BARBASTRO the largest commercial hub before reaching D.O.
Somontano, with a cathedral, wine museum and the Monasterio
del Puedo.
PERARRÚA-BESIANS, visit the Castillo de Mon, Roman
church and mediaeval bridges.

FISHING:
The lake attracts many fishermen throughout the season. We
can provide you with your fishing license.
HORSEBACK RIDING: Through the countryside, excisions with
guide and by appointment.
SPORTS: within 50 kilometers you will find almost every adventure
sport you can imagine, canyoneering, rafting, climbing, caving
and potholing, and right on the lake you can enjoy water sports
such sailing, water skiing, canoeing, pedal boats, etc,.
HIKING AND TREKKING: The entire Ribagorza valley is laced
with different long and short routes that are clearly marked
suitable for anyone who wants to enjoy nature up close and
marvel at the spectacular beauty of the valley.
